Severus : Moments of Redemption
An interesting note : Severus is named "Moments of Redemption" because of several redeeming events. Firstly Kantarra gets
to talk to her nicer, gentler double, Anastassia. This provides her with a moment of true clarity in her cause. Secondly,
when Kantarra performs the funerary liturgy for the "ghosts" on board the crashed freighter, Gavin was the first to declare
that he was going to stick around for that. That shocked ME as a GM, as well as the NPCs in the group, and after Gavin
decided to stay, everyone else did too. Thirdly, Gavin tries to cut a deal with his arch-nemesis, Chayand Ashkartu. I'm
not sure why he did that, but it was damn cool. Oh yeah, and if some of my titles sound like I ripped them off of Babylon 5,
I'm a HUGE fan of the show, and I liked it as an artistic endeavor more than as a show. Some of the titles really spoke to
me as a writer and as a fan of the imagination. So yeah, I've been influenced, and yeah, I probably "borrowed" a little more
than some might feel comfortable with. So what? Screw off.
