Welcome to my RoboRally homepage! It is from there that the Central Race Computer will issue all randomized instructions to the hapless Widget Factory robots. From here you may review the backlogged turns, pick up new commands, submit instructions via email, and view the chaos of the current actions. All options are listed below.

July 12, 2001:
Damnit, the day I decided to actually update the roborally page was the day my site was down, I know it's been a LOOONNG time, but I swear we will progress. I'll try to get to it next week sometime (it's going to be a little more work than normal, I had to disassemble the board I had set up at home, so I'll have to set that up again before I can process the turn). Anyway, hopefully at least some of you are still a little bit interested.

March 7, 2001:
Well, I know it's taken forever and everyone has asked me if I was ever going to run the next turn but I finally did it. Turn Five is processed and archived and ready for the history books. It was a pretty tame round really, not a lot of damage, no one died, and actually quite a bit of healing. Not to mention all too many left turns. So now with Turn Five complete, the deadline for Turn Six is March 13th, and this time I promise to try harder at updating the turn.

"It's not my fault, they told me they fixed it." I found a wrench on the real board that wasn't on the web board. It has beed added and now everything should be right, so for those of you playing at home, the two should look identical now.

January 24, 2001:
It's a day late, but we got all the turns in and processed. This round wasn't nearly as bloody as the last two, but Spin Bot finally got some of his own medicine. I hope you are still enjoying this as much as I am. You can view the results of Turn Four in the archives. As for Turn Five, some of you may know I'm going on a short trip. You can go ahead and submit your turns and I will be able to run Turn Five as soon as I get back. So I will set the deadline for Turn Five for January 29th. Good Luck!

January 18, 2001:
Forgot to put this in yesterday's news: the deadline for Turn Four is January 22nd (in case you didn't see the e-mail).

January 17, 2001:
I have gotten all my web server crap straightened out, found my original web site, figured out how to upload to the new server and updated the card pages. So what does all that mean to you? You can finally run Turn Four! I'm sorry it took so long, but I've been swamped with the holidays, the new year, a new server, a new IP address, payment problems lost data, a new semester, problems at work and a thousand other things you probably don't care about. So go out there and try not to kick so much of eachother's ass (Spin Bot).

January 10, 2001:
Okay, I ran the turn, three deaths (one was self inflicted though). I haven't posted the cards yet, will do that tomorrow after work. Updates to the game include the new Turn Three transcript, the Current Board, and the Player Stats page. Look for new cards tomorrow, I will email when I get them posted.

January 9, 2001:
Well, I'm getting a little behind. I've been busy at work, and am trying to do a bunch of different personal projects at the same time. I hope to get the turn run tonight, but I said that yesterday too. I've got all the information in the format that I need it, I just need to sit down and actually play out the turn and update the web site. I should be able to get that done by tomorrow, barring any unforseen events this evening. Again, sorry for the delay.

December 20, 2000:
Well, I posted Turn Two and it was a bloody round, simply vicious! The results are up and everything is set for Turn Three. The deadline will be December 31st. I realize this is a little longer than 5 days, but a lot of players will be away from their computers for the next week and a half. If I do get all the instructions in before then, I'll run the turn.

December 15, 2000:
Turn One has been run, processed and posted. Turn Two program cards have been uploaded. Turn Two deadline will be Wednesday, December 20th. Again, if you have not submitted your instructions by then, you will not move.

December 11, 2000:
Deadline for this round is Wednesday, December 13th. If you have not submitted your instructions by then, you will not move.

December 8, 2000:
I have emailed all the players and I now declare "Game On!" The first turn is underway.

December 7, 2000:
The Scripts are finished, all that is left to do is draw the first hand. I can't do that until everyone submits to me their starting position. I'll be emailing a request for your starting positions along with your passwords this evening.

December 6, 2000:
All but 3 bots have been assigned. The Rules page has been updates with the House Rules (please read them before the game starts). I have the login script working and as soon as you have your password you can test it out (though there is nothing on the resulting pages). I will try to get the first turn cards processed and initial options done tonight or tomorrow. Hopefully we will have a game starting around Friday.
